Thoughts on the world, homeopathy, mindfulness and food...
A collection of blog posts - feel free to respond with your thoughts and comments - I love to have feedback - thank you!
So much technology around us, constantly pinging, demanding attention, needing to be dealt with! On the surface I think we've coped really well with it all (mostly), and yet below the surface what's happening? I love that I can keep in touch with treasured friends who live further away than maybe I'd like using facebook for example. But do we need to be constantly tapping into everyone else's lives all the time - when we're sat on the train, in a traffic queue. And do we need to be sharing our meals, our holidays, our everyday events minute by minute or event by event?
I don't know the answer to these - and am sure I'm guilty of all of them, so no accusations being made, purely observations and mental musings. I'm definitely inspired by posts on twitter, instagram and facebook and do love to get ideas on holidays, food, things to do on rainy days and more. But when is enough enough? I've reached an enough place and having worked with social media for the last 20 months I really do love it and see the benefits of it on a wide scale. I also see the downside and plan to introduce more downtime, more unplugged life and - typical to how I like to try things, am off to unplug from the internet for a week from Saturday. Or two. Let's see. I'm looking forward to more reading time, less being aware of analytics, more peace, and more discovering. With love and peace, Em x I'll still be seeing texts/voicemail so for any clients needing to make appointments or get in touch feel free to leave a message and I'll be back in touch asap for these.
