I've gone from being someone with a sign in their kitchen stating 'I kiss better than I cook' (I really just was NOT interested in food except because you have to be to keep reasonably healthy) to someone who got so inspired I studied diplomas in nutrition and kinesiology with a view to helping myself and others. Since then I've devoured as much information as I can on foods, optimum diets and am currently experimenting (and loving) with a high carb, raw vegan diet.
