Ceilidh at Christmas

The Ceilidh at Christmas is back! This is the 4th time we've run the event and it's been a popular one, at times selling out.
Phoenix Ceilidh describe themselves as "an experienced 4 piece band playing lively foot-tapping Irish/Scottish traditional dance music." I describe them as brilliant and would happily listen/dance to their music for hours.
This year we have a special guest appearance of former Embsay resident, singer songwriter Jen Armstrong a.k.a. Vegan Queen V. Jen has an amazing voice and will be singing during our supper break.
A veggie supper will be provided.
Ticket prices cover the costs of the hall, supper and the band. In 2019 we were able to donate £185 to each of Embsay and Eastby Good Neighbours and to my friend Vicky's Hedgehog Recovery Mission/Hospital from profits and donations given on the night.

Child Ceilidh Ticket

Phoenix Ceilidh are playing for a night of dancing, laughter, eating and enjoyment at Embsay with Eastby Village Institute. The child ticket is for children over the age of 5. Babes in arms and toddlers are welcome if they're happy to stay up for the music.
Veggie supper provided. BYO drinks.
