This is Lucy. She's our german shepherd cross greyhound lovely lurcher. Her humans before us (she came to live with us at 14 weeks old) were homeopaths - though her 'mum' does more thermal imaging than homeopathy. Her 'dad', also qualified in thermal imaging, does more homeopathy than that. Her real parents, a lovely dad German Shepherd and mum a bridle greyhound used homeopathy in their home.
She taught me a really lovely lesson, one which I see reflected in my practice to be honest, and I can get stuck on here and there. She suffered terribly with car sickness, vomiting, or even worse for the smell factor, poo-ing in the car whenever we went out. I gave 'car sickness' remedy after remedy with no success. Which is really frustrating, and even more so when you're a homeopath I think. You know this stuff is brilliant, but get the remedy wrong and you may do nothing. So I chatted to a vet homeopath friend who took me back to basics - what type of dog was she? And when I stepped outside my 'fix the car sickness' place, into 'who is she that has the car sickness?', I was away. I gave her one phosphorus - I'm pretty sure it was a 10m, which is a fairly high dose - but it was an extreme situation and it felt to match her. And that was that. No more stinky trips. Plus - and I never expected this side effect - she would jump into the car happily, after previously having her tail between her legs. Love it.

This image, again by my daughter, came out of her helping me to tidy my clinic space. I've been busy working, being a parent and doing life and there never seemed to be time to sit and label everything and put it properly away. So being half term, I offered to pay her for a day's work and got started.
Being more artistic than me she created this and the photo is hers too. The heart grew and grew over the session and I think there's all but one of the remedies in this that needed tidying and putting properly in their drawers. I'll try share those as another image as they seem to make people (well homeopaths and arty crafty types) drool over them.
It was great revisiting the different remedies from so many cases that I'd prescribed over the years. Minerals, animals and plants amongst them all.
My daughter, who took the time to help me (she was well compensated for her time!) has been brought up with homeopathy in her life and will say to friends that they should try it, suggest remedies and practitioners to people on occasion. Very happy to have homeopathy in our lives. Em
