Salted Caramel Almond Nice Cream
Anytime is the right time in our house to say a big thank you to the vitamix (it sits at the side of me as I type, having just finished the Raspberry Milkshake from my Smoothies page I made for my lunch). But here especially so. It just finished creating a marvellous piece of culinary delightfulness.
Vitamix Love all round here!
So for this super simple and so tasty desert/ breakfast/lunch/dinner you'll need:
5 bananas
Handful of almonds
Pinch of Himalayan or rock salt
Around 8 medium dates
And all you do is blend it in the Vitamix til it looks like this:
I do love this 'I'm finished' Vitamix shape that happens each time the nice cream is ready!
Really that's all there is to it.
If you've a less powerful blender you may need to add in a 1/2 cup of non dairy milk or a non frozen banana to get it blending away nicely.
I'm so often asked which blender I'd recommend and whilst I love my vitamix, my mum and sister both have the Magimix Le Blender which has the same Wattage (1200W) as my Vitamix, and does everything just as well, albeit with a shorter warrantee (Magimix is a year compared to 7 years). It comes in with a much smaller price tag and if I needed to replace my beast of a machine, I'd be happy to opt for that one next.

Enjoy! You deserve it!
