Thoughts on the world, homeopathy, mindfulness and food...
A collection of blog posts - feel free to respond with your thoughts and comments - I love to have feedback - thank you!
Oh this twitter malarky. If I listened to them it would be a sad little world. I'd be a liar and all sorts worse. What I find is strange is that I see something happen, I can't unsee it. Colleagues see things happen. I see more things happen. I experience changes for myself. Do I believe something then? For me it's way beyond belief - I know it. Wiser people than me have informed me I can never know the whole truth of anything, I can only know my version of it. But when you've felt something, been witness to something. That changes things. Belief is not for that. That's when knowing comes in. So still it can be hard. Still I get excited when I hear feedback that people are doing well. Still sometimes it takes time, sometimes progress isn't as speedy as they (or I) would like. But seeing - is that believing? Not for me. It's knowing. I see therefore I know. Homeopathy has an action. I see people in distress calm down. I see physiological readings change. What's that? Witchcraft? I think not. Unless witchcraft is after all gentle medicine, practiced working with the body, as I believe it was before the whole thing was driven underground and assumed a darker edge. But really we're beyond that now. Homeopathy is practiced in hospitals, in ICU departments, in clinics worldwide. Colleagues more patient than me see it working on plants. I keep easy to live through abuse plants - desert like creatures and succulents in my house (I love plants, just am not great with them). Tender nurturing of seedlings is best left to my partner's dad. Remembering to water my plants is best left to my partner. And gentle experiments working with plants best left to folk like the lovely Dr Stephan Baumgartner. Here he describes recent research: Content that he's devoting the next 20 years of his professional life figuring out the 'how' of it all, I plan to devote the next 20 of mine seeing people get better and knowing this remarkable medicine to be the wonder that it is. Feel free to share and comment if you wish, With best wishes, Em PS Money plants are the best survivors out of my experiments so far - mine is 21 this year.

There's a few great books on it, but several helpful websites too. I'd mix the remedy in water and spray the plant (but as mentioned above - I've a lot to learn!!).
