Thoughts on the world, homeopathy, mindfulness and food...
A collection of blog posts - feel free to respond with your thoughts and comments - I love to have feedback - thank you!
I've been pondering again. I know Abby will like this. And probably have an opinion too if I'm right... In fact, because I know she's happy for me to do so I'll share a little of Abby's story with you - in her words. Have a watch here. Abby, like many others, had had years taking medicine 'that works' (or at least according to more skeptical types - it was there in the science journals and RCTs and reviews so all good). But she'd been taking that medicine for years. And still wasn't feeling good, was still anxious - to the point that she was on the max dose of one medication and another was just being added to help manage her anxiety. I still remember our first conversation, where I was sitting when we talked and booking in our first appointment. I remember our first appointment. And I LOVE seeing updates from her, feeling the energy and vibrancy that she's got compared to the person I first met. What would it have been like without finding homeopathy? I can't answer that, but having had chronic migraines disappear, no longer needing beta blockers and now having reduced her antidepressants, I would guess perhaps she'd still be having migraines, anxiety attacks and be on all the drugs. What we do is a privilege. An amazing gift to be able to walk alongside someone and help. When people return and you check in to find out how they're doing - find they no longer have the nightmares, they're feeling stronger, more 'themselves', that symptoms have gently resolved themselves. There's something very amazing about that. I was away over the weekend studying with Dr Rajan Sankaran who was hosted by The School of Homeopathy. Wonderful location, amazing seminar material and all round good time. Thank you to all involved. In the days following I've mused over how much of an influence he's had on my life and career, without direct study as yet with him. One term I've said to countless clients is that of our 'non human song'. This I read many years ago in one of his books, and it resonates strongly with us. We all have our human-ness and mostly can identify with that. It's the infrequent person who will tell me they don't feel as if they belong on this planet, but yes some people have that feeling too. We have, I believe, this amazing energy that's not the same as everyone else's, that seems to influence our dreams, desires, ways of being, and unconscious states. It's utterly fascinating to me and where I can perceive the song, I have a far better chance of helping people move forwards to better health. I want to leave you with this video. These cases who'd been passed around specialists, without help, finding resolution here, is a message echoed many times. So my curiosity is what would we do without it? Without homeopathy as an option? Have a wonderful day out there, and if I can answer any questions do feel free to get in touch, Em x
