Thoughts on the world, homeopathy, mindfulness and food...
A collection of blog posts - feel free to respond with your thoughts and comments - I love to have feedback - thank you!
Wow!! It seriously only feels 2 minutes since the last Homeopathy Awareness Week (HAW) which I celebrated by flying to the Canary Islands. Which was nice. Not really my HAW celebration as such, just a well timed holiday. We used homeopathy there though - as always for this and that - and whilst I remember the kit being out, I can't recall quite what minor ailment it was for now. I think perhaps bites of some kind. Apis can be really helpful here, as can Ledum - always check the symptoms you're experiencing with the ones the remedy highlights - for this, the Homeopathy UK app can be a handy tool. The app is available on android and iPhones as well as tablets etc and is brilliant. So this year, I'm not on holiday. It's all about balance I guess. I'm celebrating by seeing clients all day which will be enjoying what it's all about. What I'm going to do on my social media channels, and possibly here on the website, is share a video a day around homeopathy, either featuring yours truly, or a client telling their story of how homeopathy has helped them. A little sneak peek of my day 1 (which is actually for the 10th April, but hey, I like to be prepared) is here: If you've experienced how homeopathy has helped you, do make your own short video and share it with friends and family. You can also share it with the Homeopathy Worked for Me Facebook page (send a message to the page there) where they'll be happy to share it on the page and many more people may get to share in the potential of homeopathy. It's really easy to do* and you never know who you might get to help. 4Homeopathy in the UK are looking at 4 main areas to focus on in this Homeopathy Awareness Week - one of which is to make and share movies, two, to share these links: www.homeopathyawarenessweek.com/2018-campaign/ www.homeopathyawarenessweek.com www.homeopathyawarenessweek.co.uk www.homeopathyawareness.com Do take a look at them, they're all quite different and all present some fascinating information around homeopathy. Share them over the week - on your social media networks, with friends, family, colleagues. It always amazes me the people I see who tell me they knew nothing about homeopathy. In my little world (which may go on inside my head) everyone knows the word, people know exactly what it is and then make their decision as an educated choice as to what they think of it. Clearly, I learn frequently this isn't the case - and when people ask questions such as if I 'recognise my clients with their clothes on', how my aromatherapy course is going, and the like, I quickly remember it's not the same as it is in my delusion. Many people actually have no idea what it is, or what it can do. I saw someone this week who'd never heard the word before someone in his family came along. Early days there but a good start felt to have been made (again after conventionally painkillers were the only option but weren't actually helping longer term) and I may be able to share more with you in time. Watch this space. So back to HAW2018 - three, support the vets march in London. We're going to go along which am excited about. There are some fantastic vets who've been on the firing line for too long and I'm happy this is an initiative that the UK organisations are supporting for this HAW2018. You can also sign the petition to support the first line use of homeopathy and other CAM therapies. Lastly, stream Just One Drop. I've watched it twice now so am not hosting a streaming party - but if you've not seen it you should grab the popcorn and have a watch to see what's been going on on an international level around homeopathy, as well as some great case examples and a dip into the history behind it all. Get some friends around or just watch it yourself. This impossible medicine is like nothing else I've ever encountered. Have a go and try it for yourself if there's something you're struggling with that's not being helped in other ways. www.findahomeopath.org will show you homeopaths near to you. And have a happy month, HAW2018 and enjoy each and every day at a time, Em x *My tools are basic - an iPhone, a mini tripod (but I frequently improvise with a wall, tree or just hold my hand still), I've a bigger tripod which still needs its first outing... then editing with iMovie. You don't need to be a pro to share your story. And you don't need to edit it - just get the word out there.
