Thoughts on the world, homeopathy, mindfulness and food...

There's not that many things that make me mad. Injustice, abuse probably the main two that spring to mind. So perhaps that's why this one irritates me. The suppression of homeopathy by the pharmaceutical world drives me mad. I am aware of pharmacists that are homeopaths, pharmaceutical reps that are homeopaths, doctors that are homeopaths, vets who are homeopaths, nurses that are homeopaths, plenty of them who are no longer practicing their first career and working with homeopathy solely as they've found it more effective. Not that they're always better paid for it. Not that they don't, at times, take abuse for their new career. But they see it working. They work hard. It's not an easy path to walk. But damn, it's worthwhile.
Seeing, early this week, a case of a child of 4 who'd been unhappy ever since she was born due to pain issues, showed me again why we do what we do. Medically nothing helped. Homeopathically, well yes. The remedy that matched closest to the case was given and within 2 months a huge improvement. By the time several months had passed things were vastly different and improvement was huge. Other cases, depression for years and years. Or IBS, or anxiety. Candida. Or times where constant antibiotics needed, then with homeopathic treatment for a few months able to not only not have the infections that were still occurring despite daily antibiotics for the last 6 years, no prophylactic antibiotics needed and no infections happening. A year on still the same. Obviously where medication is given by another professional it's not my business to interfere with that and I always stress that decisions to reduce that, should that be appropriate, should be undertaken with that professional. That's how I work. I aim to integrate so the best possible treatment for that individual is achieved. I've clients reducing their diabetic medication. Because they now can. Others reducing pain medication - because they're forgetting to take it as the pain is significantly reduced. I could go on but it's probably enough of a rant. Please donate and help fund this challenge. Homeopathy could save the NHS a fortune if integrated well into the services that are offered. I've given people homeopathic medicines and they've no longer needed operations for tendonitis, where only the conventional option offered was surgery, or people not needing costly medications for rheumatoid arthritis. Not only that but inflammatory markers coming down. With homeopathy. If you've not done already, please support this hugely important campaign started by the British Homeopathic Association. www.crowdjustice.com/case/save-homeopathy-on-the-nhs/ There. Rant over. Thank you.
